Con Robinson Contracting has been in business for 45 years. In the mid 1980’s, Con Robinson Contracting was the first permitted compost facility in the state of Kentucky. We are this area's pioneer of processing thoroughbred and standard-bred horse manure and bedding (muck) into compost through microbial decomposition. This process enables us to break down muck waste and turn it into dark, rich, organic compost used by homeowners and landscapers throughout the Bluegrass Region. Another popular and available product, is a leaf compost. Made strictly from leaves that are double ground with 1" minus screens and then aged to dark organic rich amendment. Don't be fooled by competitor’s claims. Our products are the originals. So why would others charge more for their products? What is the difference? It’s simple; we keep our overhead low and choose to pass that savings on to our valued customers!
WHAT IS "Living Mulch"? Living Mulch should not be confused with organic mulch, which is what we and most bulk suppliers sell. Living mulch is a LIVE cover crop PLANT, such as clover, some times used in the agriculture industry. Living Mulch is inter-planted or under-sown with a main crop, and intended to serve the functions of a mulch, such as weed suppression and regulation of soil temperature

Gas stations often sell bagged mulch at 4 bags for $9.99. These bags are usually about 2 cubic feet. There are 27 cubic feet in 1 cubic yard so it would take 13 1/2 bags to equal 1 cubic yard. That price isn't such a "bargain" at more than $33! The price of our bulk mulch is only $12 per cubic yard when you pick it up. That's a HUGE savings!
